“Personal data” means name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, telephone number and other personal information about customers.
“Processing” of personal data means any operation which is performed upon such data, such as collection, recording, storage, use, disclosure, transmission, etc. of personal data when such operations are carried out wholly or partly by electronic means.
“Data Subject” means the customer whose personal information is processed by ALTI AB.
“Sensitive data” means personal data revealing ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, trade union membership or personal data concerning health or sex life.
“Unstructured material” means text, images, emails, etc. that are not part of or intended to be part of a document, customer management system or other database.
In relation to customers, ALTI AB mainly processes customers’ name, telephone number, address and e-mail address. This information is used for the following purposes: (i) delivery of ALTI AB’s products, (ii) maintenance of a customer database with customers’ contact details.
If the personal data consist of unstructured material, these data can be processed freely except that the processing must not infringe the privacy of the data subject.
When a document, customer management system or other database contains personal data, the processing of this information must be done in accordance with the applicable personal data law. This means, for example, that;
ALTI AB will not sell, rent or lease the personal data collected except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy. ALTI AB may, if necessary, transfer personal data to [an accounting/factoring company] that handles invoicing, a company that handles credit card payments, a web hosting company and a company that is responsible for ALTI AB’s marketing activities.
Sensitive data will not be processed unless the data subject has given his or her explicit consent to the processing or the processing is necessary for the purposes of fulfilling obligations or exercising rights under applicable law.
ALTI AB does not intentionally collect personal data from children under the age of 18 and the website is not directed to children under the age of 18. ALTI AB recommends that parents and guardians take an active part in their children’s online activities and interests.
Personal data may not be transferred to a country outside the EU unless specific measures have been taken to ensure that the recipient of the personal data takes appropriate measures to ensure an adequate level of protection for the data.
Unless the processing of personal data is necessary to invoke ALTI AB’s rights or to perform ALTI AB’s obligations under a contract, ALTI AB’s employees shall consult their legal counsel before (a) processing personal data; or (b) transferring personal data to a third country/country outside the EU.
Information to the data subject
The data subject always has the right to be informed about the processing. If data is collected from the data subject himself/herself, information on how the data will be processed, etc. shall be provided at the time of collection. In addition to this, the data subject has the right to request information annually, free of charge, about what personal data concerning him or her is being processed and how this is done.
In order to protect the privacy of the data subject, ALTI AB undertakes to implement reasonable measures to verify the identity of the data subject by means of passwords, before the data subject is given access to their personal information. To review and change the personal information provided to ALTI AB, the data subject can access the website where the personal information was provided or contact ALTI AB at the address set out in section 18 below.
Inaccurate data shall be rectified, blocked or erased as soon as practicable, if the data subject so requests.
Personal data must not be kept for longer than is necessary for the purposes of the processing. This means that personal data must be reviewed regularly and that outdated personal data must be deleted from the systems and databases where the information is stored. For example, outdated personal data may constitute personal data that ALTI AB no longer has use for the contract in question or for which the purpose of the processing has lost significance.
An employee who processes personal data must do so in accordance with this Privacy Policy, applicable law and other policies and instructions that ALTI AB may have adopted from time to time. ALTI AB is obliged to ensure that all subcontractors and other external parties who are given access to personal data enter into an agreement containing, where applicable, the same provisions as this Privacy Policy, unless the provision of such information is mandatory under applicable law, regulation or judgment.
ALTI AB has implemented the technical and organizational security measures that ALTI AB considers sufficient to protect the personal data processed.
ALTI AB uses a payment processor that uses encrypted communication (Secure Sockets Layer, SSL) when collecting and transferring sensitive information such as credit card information. SSL makes the information inaccessible to anyone except the payment processor. This security feature is activated when the unopened key symbol or a closed lock (depending on the browser) is visible at the bottom of the browser window.

All employees or other persons who process personal data shall participate in ALTI AB internal trainings or equivalent in order to fully understand the obligations of ALTI AB with regard to the processing of personal data. Such training is held for new employees and when necessary to keep employees up to date on the requirements for processing personal data.

These External Sites are not under the control of ALTI AB and ALTI AB is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of any of these External Sites, including, without limitation, any link contained in an External Site or any changes and updates to an External Site.
If the general terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy are changed, ALTI AB will publish the adjusted Privacy Policy on this website with information about when the changes come into force.
